Spread The Hunger Games

Delirium written by Lauren Oliver.

This book takes place in the future in the USA. At that time love is considered to be a disease and when people turn eighteen they are cured. The only problem is that people can be infected with the “deliria” which is caused by love. The government can’t let the deliria spread, but how far will they go to stop it?

I love this book.It is going to be a series and the second book is possibly going to be called Pandemonium.  It is so far the only reason I’m glad that William Shakespeare ever lived (you have to read the book to know why). If you want a reason to not hate Shakespeare quite as much, read Delirium!

Crossed, the second book in the Matched Series. Written by Ally Condie.

Cassia is trying to find someone and will do anything to find them. She goes places that most people can’t imagine and she is learning of things that the Society doesn’t want people to know. She meets new people along the way that will change everything.

This book is an amazing follow up. It is told from two points of view but it is totally necessary and well done.

Matched, the first book in the Matched Series. Written by Ally Condie. 

This book takes place sometime in the future in what I’m assuming is the USA, but it is referred to as The Society. The Society makes the choices for everyone, from who they will marry to what their job will be. Everyone goes along with it, but when something goes wrong with the system lives can be changed.

This is the book I read after I finished The Hunger Games when I was in “withdrawal” because I thought that I could never find a good book again. This was the book that proved me wrong. 

Divergent, the first, and so far only, book in the Divergent Trilogy. Written by Veronica.

This book takes place in Chicago sometime in the future. Society is divided into five factions: Abnegation (selflessness), Amity (peacefulness), Candor (honesty), Dauntless (courage), and Erudite (intelligence). When people turn sixteen they must pick which faction they want to belong to. Once they pick their faction they must go through the initiation. They must decide to stay with their family or go where they want.

I started reading this book two days ago, and I read 300 pages in the first day. I finally finished it today and it was completely and utterly amazing! This book is almost as good as The Hunger Games which is unheard of. It’s a must read!

The Hunger Games, first book in The Hunger Games Trilogy. Written by Suzanne Collins.

This book takes place in North America sometime in the future. It is now a country called Panem which is made of twelve districts and The Capitol. Every year two tributes from the each district are sent to fight to the death on live TV until only one survives.

This is by far the best book I have ever read. Even though there is some romance in this book, that doesn’t mean guys shouldn’t read it. I know guys who have read it and are obsessed with it just like girls are. My mom even loves it. Everyone MUST read this!

Catching Fire,the second book in The Hunger Games Trilogy. Written by Suzanne Collins.

The 74th Hunger Games have come to an end and the victory tour is about to begin. This coming Hunger Games is going to be a Quarter-Qwell which means that it is going to have something extra special to make the games even worse.

I don’t want to say too  much because I don’t want to give anything away. I still can’t decide if I like this book or the first one better.

Mockingjay, the third and final book in The Hunger Games Trilogy. Written by Suzanne Collins.

The Quarter-Qwell is over and something is brewing in the districts. Things may never be the same in Panem again.

Yet again, I don’t want to give anything away. This book is pretty intense, and it is definitely different than the other two. That doesn’t make it any less amazing.
