Hex Hall the first book in the Hex Hall Series. Written by Rachel Hawkins.
Hecate is a school for Prodigium, or people with magical powers, that have disciplinary issues. This is Sophie Mercer’s new school. But when people go missing people are getting paranoid, and when Prodigium get scared things can go really wrong.
This book was really interesting. There is a lot of mystery and drama. Sophie is a really likable character along with the other characters in the book. This series is the only exception to the no vampire/werewolf rule but they are completely different than the werewolves and vampires in Twilight.

Demon Glass the second book in the Hex Hall Series. Written by Rachel Hawkins.
The school year is over at Hecate and Sophie is going to be spending the summer in England. But when she arrives in England she starts to discover some that there are strange things going on in the Prodigium world. As if her life wasn’t complicated enough, things are about to get even crazier.
This book was amazing. It was crazy intense and dramatic and it totally keeps your attention. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.

The Secret Hour the first book in the Midnighters Trilogy. Written by Scott Westerfeld.
Bixby, Oklahoma has a secret that only a small group knows about, and, when Jessica moves there, she joins that group. That secret is not only ancient but dangerous, and Jessica needs to learn how to deal with it.
I haven’t read this series in a long time so the descriptions are all rather vague. I’ve been meaning to reread it when I get the time. I know they are great books written by an amazing author.

Touching Darkness the second book in the Midnighters Trilogy. Written by Scott Westerfeld.
The Midnighters are starting to discover dark secrets about the midnight hour. These secrets not only threaten them but the world of daylight.

Blue Noon the third and final book in the Midnighters Trilogy. Written by Scott Westerfeld.
Things go crazy when time freezes in the middle of the day. Everything the Midnighters know is about to change.

Uglies the first book in the Uglies Trilogy. Written by Scott Westerfeld.
This series takes place in the future, but I’m not sure where. Most of the people on Earth died years ago and those that survived have recreated society. When people turn sixteen they undergo a surgery to become pretty, but some people don’t want to. There are people that live outside of society in the Wilds where no one is pretty.
This series is amazing. Scott Westerfeld is a total genius, and he needs to write a million more books.

Pretties the second book in the Uglies Trilogy. Written by Scott Westerfeld.
Once people turn sixteen they become pretty, but that comes at a cost. The life everyone thinks is perfect has consequences, but no one really pays much attention. They are too busy enjoying the perfect life they lead where everyone is perfect. But what happens when people don’t want to be pretty anymore?

Specials the third book in the Uglies Trilogy. Written by Scott Westerfeld.
There is a secret group that keep society in line, but no one is supposed to know about their existence. The members of the group have special abilities and can be especially cruel. But what happens when one of them turns against them?

Extras the fourth and final book in the Uglies Trilogy. Written by Scott Westerfeld.
Technology is extremely advanced and society is like a giant reality TV show. Everything is about becoming famous to earn money but there are some people who prefer to keep what they do secret, and those people have a lot of secret to keep.
Even though this book is part of the Uglies series, it is very different from the other books. It follows a different character and takes place later than the rest of the books.
